Elliptical…6 mi….30:00….lower body weights with ‘The Firm’ Body Sculpt video
Had a REALLY hard time waking up this morning. These dark, chilly mornings are BEGGING my brain to stay asleep. Its hard to break away from the just-go-back-to-your-nice-warm-bed’ side of my brain and leap over to the lets-get-er-done! side of my brain. That is a wide chasm to cross, my friends.
But, get-er-done I did. And I am glad I did as we had a busy afternoon with a homeschool park playdate and then to the store to buy a few groceries for tomorrow when we celebrate our last day learning about France. Got some french bread, brie, french onion soup, potato soup and apples. The apples were suppose to be for an apple tart, but I am going to cheat and make apple cake instead. We LOVE apple cake.
I have been starting to try to be more aware of what I am putting in my body. I have already been doing well with hydrating and I usually drink 4-6 16oz glasses a day. But the food is a whole ‘nother story.
BUT for breakfast I have been eating a nice size bowl of oatmeal with 1tsp of coconut oil and 2 tbsp of raw honey mixed in (with a little Oscar Meyer to satisfy the bacon monster in me). And I have notice that it keeps me full for quite some time and keeps my energy level up. I am not a ‘breakfast foods’ eater. A typical breakfast for me is some type of leftovers from dinner (chili, tacos, pizza etc), or, dont laugh….corn dog nuggets. I know I know-SUPER, so not healthy, but super OH-SO-yummy.
So anyway, trying to make eating healthier a bigger portion of my eating then the not-so-healthy eating…we’ll see which wins. My inner bacon monster is PRETTY strong…..
