Oct 18,2010….5 miles 50:50…49*….gear: headband, tank top, LS shirt, shorts, hydration belt
This is week 8 of my 10 week 15K novice plan. This week I have a 5, 3 and 7 miler. This morning was 49* when I left the house around 7am. I debated on just wearing a tank top, but I stepped outside on my porch to test the weather and found it to be a little too chilly for just a tank top at the beginning. I DID end up taking the LS shirt off around 5min into my run, but I was still very thankful to have had it during my warm up and first 5min of my run. I felt pretty slow on this run and the last 1/2 mile was tough. I ended the run up a pretty big hill.
When I got home, I did lower body as well. Hubby and I have been doing abs together at night. He has an ab routine that him and a buddy made years ago. It takes about 15-20 min to complete.
Tomorrow I hope to get the elliptical and upper body done in the morning and would also like to incoporate more jump roping into my cardio routine. I just have to remember to ease into anything new S-L-O-W-L-Y and not go all out as is my nature =)
