Oct 15 and Oct 16, 2010

Oct 15, 2o10…..I woke up too late to do my elliptical in the morning, and being that it was Friday, we had a very light school schedule so I was able to get it in before lunch.  I did 8 miles in 38:00.  I followed it with upper body weights and some jumping jacks and jump roping.  Last night, hubby and I did his WHOLE ab routine (previously we had only done half).  When I am stronger we will go thru the whole program twice. 

Oct 16, 2010…This is the end of week 7 of my 10 week plan (Hal Higdon’s 15K novice).  This is cut back week and then next week I believe I have a 5, 4 and 7 on schedule.  I got out the door about 7:10 and it just getting light out.  50* out, so I went with tank top, and shorts but also wore a headband. I like it because it keeps my ears warm, but I also like the fact that it holds my ear buds in.  I ended up taking it off around mile 3 though.  I also took my sunglasses as I was going to be running towards the sunrise but ended up not needing them.  I ran my 4 miles in 40:00.  I took it easy for the first 3 miles and then picked up the pace a bit for the last mile.  I can’t wait until we get to ‘fall back’ with Daylight Savings time here in a couple weeks!
